In 2019-2020 Australia has suffered through wildfires, known as ‘BLACK SUMMER’. 

Society’s delayed reaction to the disaster caused major ecological effects to the natural land and the lives occupying. 

The collection "Happiness Is A Warm Gun" is inspired by the images this phenomenon has created; the surfaces, textures, patterns, texts and colours all combined visualise the suffer and loss the nature and animals experienced and is calling out for immediate rections and attionion.
